Girlhud
In collaboration with Aya Lamaan Mahmudova
Girlhud is about exploring the resurgence of ‘girlhood’ in predominantly masculine spaces. We started the project with our love for clothes and photography as well as the coquette core that we, and others, incorporate into our daily wear. Both of us being involved with dance and climbing got us questioning the influences of coquette core on women’s wear in sports. Has femininity consciously manifested itself in the outdoor world?
