Madeleina "Moochy" Abrahams is a French-British choreographer and movement artist working across live performance, dance film, and visual collaboration.

Raised in Chamonix between alpine landscapes and an artistic household, Abrahams developed an early sensitivity to physical space, imagery, and the body as a site of memory. She trained in contemporary dance at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional d'Annecy before moving to London to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she was awarded the Innovation Award (2026).

Her choreographic practice translates lived experience into atmospheric movement and visual language. Working through gesture, symbolism, and composition rather than linear narrative, Abrahams creates layered works that explore girlhood, vulnerability, and the tension between innocence and premature adulthood. Influenced by visual art and performance traditions, her work merges choreography and image to build dreamlike worlds where softness and unease coexist.

Abrahams has presented work across the UK and internationally, including at Tate Britain (Girls on Film), London International Screen Dance Festival, Colour Factory, hARTslane, The Playground Theatre (with Tough Boys), and New York Future Dance Festival.
